Goldberg Segalla added Lynet’ D. Shigg to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in San Francisco.

A Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law, Lynet’ has dedicated her primary practice to defending insurers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators throughout California for more than eight years. Focused on exceeding client expectations, Lynet’ guides her clients through the stages of the litigation process, from initial assessment through defense preparation, witness and expert depositions, settlement evaluations, hearings, and appeals, in both the workers’ compensation and alternative dispute resolution forums. She has also used her background as a former professional dancer when advocating for entertainment industry clients, handling contract negotiations, employment and intellectual property matters as well as indemnity, talent, and music licensing agreements.

Lynet’ earned her B.F.A. from Howard University and her J.D. from the Western State College of Law.
