Goldberg Segalla added Michael E. Memberg to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Orlando.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Michael to Goldberg Segalla,” said Sean J. McKinley, co-chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice. “Michael has a proven track record in a wide range of complex workers’ compensation matters and reputation for client advocacy. His experience and leadership will be instrumental as we continue to grow our national presence.”
Memberg has dedicated his practice to workers’ compensation law since 2008, working with employers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout Florida and Georgia to bring workers’ compensation claims to a successful resolution. He has substantial experience counseling and defending temporary staffing companies and professional employer organizations (PEOs) that do not have direct supervisory control of their employees and co-employees. Based on his extensive experience, Memberg’s approach is to collaborate with clients to put proactive policies in place to protect their interests before accidents occur and claims are filed. Once a claim has been made, he works closely with his clients to stay out in front of litigated issues to position the claim for litigation or a reasonable settlement.
“Joining Goldberg Segalla’s nationally renowned Workers’ Compensation team represented a natural and obvious fit to enhance my practice and career,” said Memberg. “I’ve long been impressed by the firm’s collaborative culture and forward-thinking approach to client service. I’m excited for the opportunity to help expand the firm’s footprint and look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional results for our clients.”
Memberg earned his B.A. from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law.
