Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Serena O’Dierno
Goldberg Segalla added associate Serena O’Dierno to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group in Buffalo.
Serena represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters throughout New York State, including through settlement negotiations and appeals. Serena earned her bachelor’s at The Pennsylvania State University, graduating magna cum laude, and went on to Michigan State University College of Law, where she was a student clinician in the school’s Immigration Law Clinic. She also served as treasurer of the Spartan Youth Advocacy Society and secretary of the Family Law Society, and was active in the Sport and Entertainment Law Society, the Public Interest Law Society, and Phi Alpha Delta. Serena gained a wide range of experience through internships and other placements, including with the Hon. Deborah Haendiges in the New York State Supreme Court Integrated Domestic Violence Court, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office Domestic Violence Bureau, and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Office of Regional Counsel in Buffalo.
