Goldberg Segalla added Tiana C. Rooney to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality group in Manhattan.

Tiana represents regional and national retailers, multi-unit hotel operators, restaurant franchises, and fitness center brands in a range of civil and commercial cases, including premises liability, negligent security, personal injury, and product liability matters. An experienced civil litigator, she handles matters from case inception through settlement negotiations and mediation. Tiana is skilled in discovery and investigation, drafting motions and pleadings, and representing clients in dispute resolution, hearings and trials. Before joining Goldberg Segalla, she practiced employment and insurance law for five years, handling case analysis and strategy, crafting legal arguments, preparing and presenting motions, and defending her clients in front of administrative law judges, state supreme court judges, and appellate circuit panels.

Tiana earned a B.A. from St. Joseph’s College, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and her J.D. from the St. John’s University School of Law.
