Kenneth A. Matuszewski Named to American Bar Association’s Top 40 Young Lawyers for 2021
Kenneth A. Matuszewski, a member of Goldberg Segalla’s Intellectual Property group, has been named one of the American Bar Association’s “On the Rise” Top 40 Young Lawyers for 2021. This award provides national recognition for ABA members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and service to the profession and their communities.
“To simply say that I am honored and grateful to be recognized would be an understatement,” Kenny said. “This recognition is the culmination of several years of hard work and opportunities that others have so graciously given me. Without their guidance, trust, and confidence in my abilities, in both good times and bad, I would not be the person and attorney I am today.”
The ABA’s national recognition comes on the heels of Kenny winning the Chicago Bar Association’s Milton H. Gray Award for Outstanding Project Leadership during the CBA Young Lawyers Section annual meeting. Kenny and his co-organizers, Chastidy Burns and Martin Gould, were honored for their work in creating the Racial Justice Coalition, formed in the wake of racial injustice and police brutality, to bring together the Chicago legal community to combat systemic and institutional racism.
Kenny will be recognized at the Young Lawyers Division’s Virtual Awards Presentation held during the annual meeting of the American Bar Association on August 4-10.
