On top of being among the 51 Goldberg Segalla attorneys recognized in the 2024 Upstate New York edition of Super Lawyers, partner Meghan M. Brown received two additional designations, as she was once again named to the Top 50 Upstate New York Super Lawyers list as well as the Top 25 Women Upstate New York Super Lawyers list, considered “The Best of the Best.”

Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes the top attorneys in Upstate New York via a multiphase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation. The Upstate New York lawyers who receive the highest point totals during this selection process are further recognized in the Upstate New York Super Lawyers Top Lists.

Meghan is vice chair in the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial group and focuses her practice on civil litigation and trial as well as appellate advocacy, including matters involving personal injury, construction, and professional liability. She also serves in a leadership role as co-chair of the Appellate group. Meghan represents medical professionals and health care facilities in professional liability claims, and regularly defends therapists, nurses, lawyers and other professionals in matters involving their licensing boards. Delivering thought leadership to both her clients and the legal profession, Meghan lectures on premises liability and appellate procedure, and co-edited a chapter of the New York State Bar Association’s treatise on preparing for and trying the civil lawsuit.
