Philip emphasized the importance of empathy when interacting with individuals who have sustained injuries, highlighting its positive impact on case outcomes.

Regarding documentation in workers’ compensation cases, Todd highlighted, “The board in New York State is extremely form-heavy.” He elaborated on best practices for documentation, investigations, and collaboration with insurance carriers.

As the vice chair of the firm’s Employment and Labor practice group, Scott provided insights into employer perspectives, emphasizing the importance of maintaining updated policies. “You’re going to want to ensure your policies are in order and understand their application across different circumstances in the workers’ comp realm,” advised Scott.
