Thomas F. Segalla, a nationally recognized authority on insurance law and bad-faith claims and a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group, was named by the editors of Law360 to serve on the publication’s Insurance Editorial Advisory Board.

As a member of this group, Tom will help shape Law360’s coverage of insurance issues and contribute to its mission to provide timely and engaging content on the critical legal issues facing insurers and their counsel.

Tom is a frequent author and lecturer on emerging insurance and legal issues. He is the co-author of Couch on Insurance 3d, widely considered a seminal insurance law treatise, and currently serves as the inaugural Chair of the Defense Research Institute (DRI)’s Publications Board. He has previously served as Chair of DRI’s Insurance Law Committee, Chair of its Law Institute, and a member of its Board of Directors. He is the founding President of the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel, a national organization whose mission is to improve the practice for insurer and policyholder counsel alike.
