Thomas F. Segalla, a founding partner of Goldberg Segalla, presented to the Western New York Paralegal Association last week at its October Litigation Specialty Section Meeting.

Tom’s presentation, “Get to Know Your Expert – What Your Team Should Know,” offered the group of paralegals critical insight into how attorneys work with expert witnesses.

“Mr. Segalla reinforced the procedural protocols of retaining an expert to ensure meticulous, conscientious, and organized production of materials for expert witness preparation and testimony,” said Adrienne Szustak, co-chair of the association. “He was not only personable but also shared his wisdom with respect to ensuring your expert knows the file facts and documentation from commencement of litigation through trial, including getting to know the jurors, in order to have a positive outcome at trial.”
