Leveraging nearly six years of first-hand industry experience, Alexis D. Johnson counsels and defends clients in the transportation and logistics sectors in a wide range of civil litigation matters. Before practicing law, she served as an executive account manager for two Fortune 500 logistics companies.

Alexis contributes to all stages of litigation, including drafting dispositive motions, preparing discovery responses, and assisting in depositions. She also draws on her substantial experience in civil, constitutional, and administrative law, from her time as an Honors Fellow with the Litigation Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General. In that role, she played a key part in defending the State of New York in both federal and state courts, concentrating on Section 1983 civil rights actions, Article 78 proceedings, employment discrimination cases, and complex constitutional claims.

In addition, Alexis gained courtroom experience serving as a judicial extern for the Hon. Jill Pryor of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and for former Presiding Judge M. Yvette Miller of the Georgia Court of Appeals. As a Law Clerk with the Institute for Justice, she contributed to litigation addressing federal and state constitutional questions.
