Experience
With a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years, Andrew B. Adair is a powerful advocate for employers in civil rights and employment discrimination matters before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies.
Drew brings deep experience to civil rights claims involving the First, Fourth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments, and employment disputes arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). He also defends clients against claims involving unfair labor practices, special education litigation under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Beyond his skill in civil rights and employment law, Drew has litigated cases involving general liability, municipal torts, land use and zoning, code enforcement, construction, professional liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, labor relations, and workers’ compensation. His appellate experience includes successful arguments before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Recognized for his command of complex legal issues, Drew is frequently invited by employers to lead training seminars on employment law, civil rights, and code enforcement. He also advises and conducts internal investigations for employers on matters related to employee discipline, termination, harassment, and discrimination.
