Andrew J. Simmers counsels and defends insurers in coverage litigation in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He handles a variety of third- and first-party coverage disputes with a focus on general liability, construction defects, and property damage. Andrew draws on experience gained while representing policyholders in first-party property claims to provide insightful policy interpretation and a strong defense. He also represented defendants as a certified legal intern at the City of Philadelphia Law Department, where he obtained summary judgments in favor of the City in tort cases. During law school, Andrew served as an intern with the Hon. Glynnis D. Hill of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
