Experience
Chelsea E. Bellew counsels and defends self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in matters involving workers’ compensation and employment issues in administrative, state, and federal courts throughout the state of Florida. She handles all aspects of claims from referral through closure, including legal assessment, counseling clients, discovery, trial, and appeal. Chelsea draws on several years of experience handling workers’ compensation matters involving catastrophic injuries and permanent and total disability claims. Chelsea has also handled wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act; issues related to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family Medical Leave Act; and litigation for claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, and retaliation under federal and state laws.
