An experienced litigator and trusted counsel to domestic and foreign insurers, Evan D. Haggerty has achieved positive results litigating coverage issues in state and federal courts and representing insurers regarding first- and third-party claims. Evan’s coverage experience spans a broad range of commercial and personal lines, including professional liability, construction defect, personal injury disputes, and fraud. He handles all aspects of insurance litigation, including appeals to the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division. Working closely with insurer clients, Evan also provides analysis and advice on coverage determinations regarding contractual duties to defend, indemnity, and primacy of coverage.

Before joining a private practice in 2015, Evan gained valuable experience serving as in-house counsel for a regional insurance company.
