James M. Specyal counsels and defends clients in a variety of general liability matters. He also concentrates a portion of his practice to products liability, premises liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, and labor law matters. Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, James spent time as an attorney for the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, Appeals and Post-Conviction Unit, where he handled all aspects of criminal appeals before the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department, and the New York State Court of Appeals.

During law school, James gained experience as a judicial intern for the Hon. Eugene M. Fahey in the New York State Court of Appeals.
