Meghan A. Yarussi focuses her practice on workers’ compensation law, counseling and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in a range of workers’ compensation matters. She is involved in each stage of the litigation process from origin of a file through its resolution, including discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trials.
Meghan draws on experience gained as a law clerk, supporting attorneys by researching issues related to workers’ compensation, employment litigation and corporate dissolution, and drafting demand letters, settlement agreements, discovery filings, motions and orders. During law school, Meghan served as an intern for the Support and Lien Recovery Litigation Unit of the New York City Department of Social Services, conducting research, drafting legal memoranda, and tracking U.S. Supreme Court decisions.
