Melissa D. Alcoba focuses her practice on workers’ compensation matters, counseling and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. She handles all aspects of the litigation process from beginning to end, including mediations, depositions, trials, and appeals. Melissa is also experienced in preparing exposure analysis and settlement recommendations for clients.

Before joining private practice, Melissa gained trial experience as Assistant District Attorney in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. She was responsible for the prosecution and investigation of over 100 felony cases, including presenting cases to the Grand Jury. Melissa completed four violent felony trials from jury selection through verdict.
