Piotr (Peter) Popkowski focuses his practice on counseling and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. He is engaged in various aspects of workers’ compensation matters from referral through closure. Peter draws on experience handling premises liability, trucking and auto, wrongful death, dram shop, and other personal injury matters, assisting in client interviews, depositions, hearings, and trials.

During law school, Peter served as a law division intern for the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor, where he conducted research and drafted deposition reports related to waterfront labor laws, organized crime association, perjury, payroll fraud, discrimination, sexual harassment, racketeering, and more.
