Raymond P. Weiss Jr. dedicates his practice to workers’ compensation law, counseling and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout New York. He handles all phases of the claims process, ranging from conducting depositions and preparing motions to reviewing medical records and negotiating settlement agreements.
Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Ray provided legal representation to claimants in workers’ compensation cases, representing clients at administrative hearings, at trial, and on appeal. His experience also includes serving as an employee relations associate with the New York State Office of Employee Relations, where he participated in contract negotiations and benefits administration, presenting information during negotiations, mediations and arbitrations for New York State’s collective bargaining agreements.
