Experience
Scott T. Earle is the lead partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Wilmington, Delaware office, where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation and construction industry advocacy. He handles general commercial, construction, and real estate litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration bodies, across Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Scott represents a diverse range of clients, including businesses, individuals, owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, material suppliers, and title companies. His expertise covers contract disputes, title disputes, bond claims, collections, and mechanics’ liens. He has successfully managed cases through trial, presenting to both judges and juries, and has handled appeals before the Delaware Supreme Court.
In addition to his legal career, Scott is a retired lieutenant colonel in the Delaware Army National Guard. He served as the Command Brigade Judge Advocate for the 72nd Troop Command and 261st Signal Brigades. In 2006, he deployed to Balad, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the New Jersey Army National Guard, where he served as an officer in the 1-167th Cavalry, 1st Brigade, 34th Infantry Division. For his service, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Scott worked at two major Mid-Atlantic law firms, focusing on business and commercial litigation. He also served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Delaware Department of Justice, prosecuting criminal matters.
