Scott Ziegler represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation litigation throughout Connecticut. He is involved in every stage of the workers’ compensation claims-handling process, including strategy, discovery, depositions, hearings and trials. Scott draws on his experience as a law clerk, supporting senior attorneys at the firm by conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on case law, statutes and procedural rules; drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, settlement and contractual agreements; and assisting with preparation for hearings, oral arguments and trials by organizing exhibits, outlining arguments, and compiling relevant case law. Scott also served as a legal intern at the Boston Pre-Release Center, where he supported programs by performing legal research, writing grants, and handling employment matters such as developing staff handbooks and training documents.
