Experience
Selma Moy is an experienced litigator who represents clients in complex civil litigation claims, from professional liability to personal injury, labor law, construction, and wrongful death matters. With nearly 27 years of experience handling management and professional liability matters—including high exposure medical malpractice, nursing home and healthcare litigation, personal injury, general negligence, and traumatic brain injury cases—she has successfully managed all aspects of litigation from inception to trial in New York and New Jersey.
Selma has zealously represented professional malpractice negligence matters as well as healthcare and long-term care litigation in state and federal courts, in arbitration, appeals, mediation and administrative hearings. Her background also includes defending manufacturers, product sellers, and product designers in product liability cases.
Selma draws on experience as a senior in-house litigation staff counsel at the New York City office of a Fortune 100 company. She has arbitrated and litigated disputes between insurers and insureds, analyzed major claims, determined aggregate losses, and evaluated and assessed risk to manage and control losses.
