Experience
Robert W. Clark represents employers, insurers, self-insured organizations, professional employer organizations (PEOs), and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation and liability-related matters, with a focus on reducing clients’ total cost of risk through proactive claim strategy and efficient, cost-conscious resolution.
Before transitioning to defense practice, Bob spent more than a decade representing workers’ compensation claimants. This experience gives him a distinct strategic advantage—he understands how claims are evaluated, developed, and leveraged by claimant counsel, allowing him to anticipate tactics and position clients ahead of the curve.
Bob works closely with clients across the full lifecycle of a claim, from early investigation and strategy development through litigation and resolution. His approach is practical, responsive, and results-focused, emphasizing clear communication and decisive action to help clients resolve claims efficiently while minimizing exposure and operational disruption.
In addition to his defense practice, Bob holds the Department of Labor’s OSHA Construction Safety and Health 30-hour certification. He advises clients on OSHA compliance, reporting obligations, and post-incident response, as well as broader claim strategy and risk management considerations. This combined legal and safety perspective helps clients strengthen workplace practices and better manage risk before and after a claim arises.
By integrating claimant-side insight with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach to defense, Bob helps clients navigate complex claims effectively and achieve timely, cost-effective outcomes.
