Goldberg Segalla added Scott Ziegler to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Hartford.

Scott represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation litigation throughout Connecticut. He is involved in every stage of the workers’ compensation claims-handling process, including strategy, discovery, depositions, hearings and trials. Scott draws on his experience as a law clerk, supporting senior attorneys at the firm by conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on case law, statutes and procedural rules; drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, settlement and contractual agreements; and assisting with preparation for hearings, oral arguments and trials by organizing exhibits, outlining arguments, and compiling relevant case law. Scott also served as a legal intern at the Boston Pre-Release Center, where he supported programs by performing legal research, writing grants, and handling employment matters such as developing staff handbooks and training documents.

Scott earned his B.A. from Brandeis University and his J.D. from the Western New England School of Law.
