Goldberg Segalla added Ashley E. Moss to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Philadelphia.

Ashley is an experienced workers’ compensation litigator who counsels and defends employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in a broad range of workers’ compensation claims. She has worked with a number of national and regional clients in the transportation, retail and hospitality industries. Ashley has been managing Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation claims for more than 10 years, developing litigation plans, case analyses, IME framing letters, mediation disclosures, final briefs, settlement documentation, requisite Bureau documentation, third-party settlement agreements, and appellate briefs. She handles status and evidentiary hearings, conducts direct and cross-examination of both fact and expert witnesses, and makes legal arguments before judges as dictated by case strategies. In the interest of reducing workers’ compensation expenses for her clients, Ashley regularly investigates inaccurate average weekly wage calculations as well as under- and over-payments of indemnity and medical payments, settlement proceeds, judges’ awards, and penalties, as well as calculation of statutory interest.

Ashley earned her B.A. from American University and her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law.
