Goldberg Segalla added Kristen C. Lu to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Orange County.

Kristen is an experienced workers’ compensation attorney whose practice focuses on defending the interests of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout California. She represents clients in a range of workers’ compensation matters and provides strategic counsel aimed at managing risk, controlling costs, and achieving favorable outcomes. With a background that includes private defense practice, serving as in-house counsel for two major insurance carriers, and representing individual applicants, she brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to her work. Since 2008, Kristen has managed matters from inception through resolution by settlement or trial. Her experience includes evaluating claims exposure, developing litigation and resolution strategies, conducting discovery, preparing witnesses, taking and defending depositions, and representing clients at hearings and other proceedings. She works closely with clients to navigate complex claims and identify practical solutions aligned with their business objectives.

Kristen earned her B.A. from the University of California Riverside and her J.D. from the Western State University College of Law.
