Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce the elevation of partner Haasty S. Burns to vice chair of the firm’s national Transportation Practice Group. In her new role, she will help manage a team of more than 70 attorneys providing full-service legal counsel, defense, and guidance to clients in the trucking, transportation, and logistics industries.

Robert M. Hanlon Jr., co-chair of the Transportation Practice Group said, “We want to extend our congratulations to Haasty on her much-deserved new vice chair role in the Transportation Practice Group. Her comprehensive understanding of the trucking industry, along with her commitment to mobilizing our resources quickly to provide the high levels of responsiveness our clients need and deserve, has earned her this well-deserved elevation.”

Burns is an accomplished litigator who focuses her practice on the defense of personal injury cases involving trucking and transportation claims throughout California. She draws on extensive experience handling catastrophic injury and wrongful death, during all phases of civil litigation from case opening through resolution. Haasty also sits on Goldberg Segalla’s Women’s Initiative Board.

“Haasty’s experience and her dedication to the advocacy for those she represents, has made her invaluable to the team and her clients. We are excited for her to take this next step in leadership,” said John M. Allen, Transportation Practice Group co-chair.

Additional responsibilities for the new vice chair will include furthering Goldberg Segalla’s team culture within the practice group, fostering mentoring relationships with associates, and working collaboratively with Goldberg Segalla clients to ensure they are always positioned to achieve their goals.
