Serving as vice chair of the Transportation practice group, Haasty S. Burns is an accomplished litigator who counsels and defends a variety of clients in personal injury cases involving trucking and transportation as well as general liability claims throughout California. Haasty draws on extensive experience handling catastrophic injury, wrongful death, severe to mild traumatic brain injuries, mass tort, premises liability, and construction defect claims. She has represented multinational corporations such as Nike, Adidas, Oakley, and Gatorade, and has handled claims for insurance carriers, adjusters, and employer representatives during all phases of civil litigation from case opening through resolution. She has also represented high-profile individuals, including world-class professional athletes. Haasty has earned numerous honors that recognize the value of her legal services and her dedication to the community, including the recognition as “Lead Counsel Rated” in Civil Law by the Lead Counsel Review Board.

Haasty is a leader in the Goldberg Segalla Women’s Initiative, a collaborative program developed by and for women attorneys of the firm to increase visibility and advancement, deepen relationships, and expand networks of support for women attorneys.
