Kylee Jordan Co-Authors Chapter of IICLE Workers’ Compensation Handbook
Goldberg Segalla partner Kylee J. Jordan has been recognized as a contributing author to the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s (IICLE) Workers’ Compensation Practice 2026 Edition, a leading reference guide for attorneys handling workers’ compensation matters throughout Illinois.
Kylee co-authored Chapter 10, “Occupational Diseases,” which examines the definition of occupational disease under the Illinois Workers’ Occupational Diseases Act and provides practical guidance on proving and defending claims brought under the statute. The chapter addresses critical issues including workplace exposure, disablement, causation, notice requirements, filing deadlines, compensation determinations, hearing loss claims, settlements, and the abatement of survivor claims.
This marks the third time Kylee has authored the chapter, reflecting her deep knowledge of occupational disease litigation and her continued recognition as a trusted resource in Illinois workers’ compensation law.
