NJBIZ Highlights Seven New Jersey Attorneys Elevated to Partner

NJBIZ covered Goldberg Segalla’s recent elevation of seven New Jersey associates to partner — Elizabeth A. Adekunle, Leah A. Brndjar, Jonathan Fabozzi, and Elizabeth A. Chang in Princeton, and Teagan S. Allen, James V. Durgana, and David E. Rutkowski in Newark.

“They earned it. Our firm has grown and as they’ve grown, the ranks of our associate class has grown,” said David S. Osterman, leader of the Princeton office. “Each one of them was judged on their individual merits and found to be worthy of it.”

The article comes following Goldberg Segalla’s largest-ever elevation of new partners. The 400-attorney firm elevated 37 lawyers to its partnership, and named an additional eight lawyers special counsel. These elevations come at the end of another year of historic and nationwide growth for the law firm, following the opening of offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, California, and Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as the hiring of over 100 attorneys across its 10-state footprint in 2018.

“Ultimately we ask ourselves one fundamental question – did they make us better?” Osterman said. “When they meet our standard of being excellent lawyers and even better human beings, and are able to make us better, that’s when we ask them to become partners.”
