Goldberg Segalla’s Scott R. Green, a partner in the firm’s Employment and Labor group based in Garden City, discusses mandatory vaccine requirements for employers in New York State and across the nation in an interview with News 10 Albany for the Empire State Weekly segment.
In the interview, Scott talks about OSHA’s role in crafting a vaccine rule on behalf of the federal government, and whether or not religious and medical exemptions have a place in that rule.
“I think what we’re going to see is we’re going to include these exceptions,” Scott said. “I think what the Biden administration and the goal of our state government is to just get a lot more people vaccinated, not necessarily to bring the hammer down and it’s 100 percent across the board.”
