Brian Coltin has devoted his practice to workers’ compensation law for more than 14 years. He represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in a wide range of claims, including those involving high exposure and fatality. His approach combines strategic defense with practical counsel to help clients navigate complex and high-stakes matters.
Brian manages all facets of the claims process, from initial file evaluation and case analysis to hearings, witness preparation, medical depositions, and appellate filings. His recommendations on exposure and settlement are grounded in deep experience and a commitment to minimizing risk and cost.
With a focus on driving measurable improvements in his clients’ workers’ compensation programs, Brian conducts settlement evaluations, negotiates resolutions with opposing counsel, and drafts comprehensive settlement agreements. Prior to private practice, Brian served as in-house counsel for a leading property and casualty insurer, where he advised Field Claim Offices on coverage, investigations, litigation, and settlement strategy.
