Experience
Christopher McGowan is an experienced lead trial attorney, who focuses his practice on defending clients involved in products liability matters arising from exposure to toxic substances including asbestos, benzene, silica, mold, and other environmental hazards. In addition Christopher counsels clients in construction, tort claims immunity, and general liability matters. He has also represented clients in numerous mediations, and is a mediator in the Chester County, Pennsylvania mediation program.

- Obtained dismissal with prejudice of a negligence claim against a large urban marina stemming from the loss of a submerged private vessel
- Obtained summary judgment in favor of a major heating device manufacturer against an $800,000 mesothelioma claim, after replacing the client’s prior lead counsel late in the case
