Experience
Kealia N. Hollingsworth is an experienced workers’ compensation attorney who represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout the claims process, helping them minimize liability and control claim costs. Kealia conducts a legal analysis of each case to determine the litigation strategy and probability of success. She investigates workplace injury claims, gathering medical records, witness statements and medical opinions, and has negotiated favorable resolutions on behalf of clients. In complex claims, Kealia’s experience also includes collaborating with colleagues across practice areas – including subrogation, employment and labor, and general liability – to develop the most effective approach to achieving the client’s desired results.
After earning her J.D. at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Kealia served as deputy prosecuting attorney in the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, gaining considerable experience handling both bench and jury trials as she prosecuted more than 500 criminal cases on behalf of the State of Indiana.
While still in school, Kealia assisted attorneys in personal injury and medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution, performing legal research, drafting motions, and maintaining case files, while working as a law clerk in private practice.
