Experience
Madeline Cavalier dedicates her practice to Workers’ Compensation law, representing and advising insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators throughout Pennsylvania. She is engaged in every stage of the workers’ compensation claims process, from developing litigation strategies and preparing defenses to conducting witness and expert depositions, evaluating potential client exposure, and identifying effective settlement approaches. Madeline has successfully negotiated favorable outcomes for clients through both mandatory and voluntary mediation.
While in law school, Madeline served as a student attorney in her university’s Immigration Clinic, where she represented clients in immigration proceedings. She conducted client interviews in both Spanish and English, advised individuals on available forms of relief, and researched, drafted and filed pleadings, memoranda and briefs. Madeline also gained valuable experience with employment and labor law, risk management, and contract development through legal internships with a major league sports team, a regional health system, and the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office.
