Olivia Jobe provides legal counsel and representation in a range of civil matters with a focus on environmental law and toxic tort cases. Skilled at navigating complex scientific and regulatory issues at the intersection of environmental law and product liability, Olivia has represented clients in claims involving asbestos and talcum exposure. She also advises clients in regulatory and litigation matters involving the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts (CAA, CWA), and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). In addition, Olivia has supported municipalities, developers, and renewable energy companies in land use, real estate and commercial development matters, guiding them through siting and permitting, compliance with New York’s State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR), public comment review, and the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLPA) related land development.
Also a member of Goldberg Segalla’s Transportation practice group, Olivia advises and defends clients in the trucking and logistics industries, particularly in matters of environmental liability and cleanup. She represents renewable energy companies, municipalities, and logistics businesses, providing guidance on operations involving ports, waterways, railways and airspace, with a focus on energy and chemical transportation. Olivia handles all phases of litigation from discovery through appeal.
