Recently Elevated Co-Vice Chairs Discuss Transportation Group’s Growth, Approach to Work, and More with Law360
New co-vice chairs of Goldberg Segalla’s Transportation group, including Teagan S. Allen, Elizabeth A. Chang, Karen Saab-Dominguez, and Sean T. Stadelman, recently shared their perspectives with Law360 as they rise to leadership roles within the firm. The co-vice chairs discussed their experience as seasoned transportation attorneys, their collaborative approach to working with clients, and the responsibilities and opportunities that come with the title of co-vice chair.
“It is an indication that not only is the practice group growing in already established regions, it is also expanding across Goldberg Segalla’s footprint nationally,” Tegan said regarding the Transportation group’s recent elevations. “Opportunities abound with existing clients and new clients in expanding regions including California, Florida, and Maryland.”
“As an Asian-American female litigator, I rarely see other people who look like me in the courtroom. In fact, throughout my career, I have met only two other Asian-American female attorneys in my cases. This void is a reflection of what is still missing in the legal field—a rich, diverse community of opinions and perspectives,” Elizabeth said to Law360. “Positive workplace culture and positive morale are important at Goldberg Segalla,” Elizabeth continued when discussing her role as a leader in the Transportation group. “I believe that people grow best in environments that are goal-driven, open to dialogue, and prioritize mentorship. I intend to continue maintaining that culture as a high priority…”
“We are serving more clients every day, and we strive to do it as effectively and as streamlined as we can,” Karen explained in her approach to working with clients. “Clients have come to rely on our efforts to remain coordinated within our national footprint and our ever-increasing depository of experience, skill, and successes.”
“I have enjoyed working on one-off catastrophic injury cases as well as mass torts throughout my career in the transportation and product liability areas,” Sean reflected on his experience. “The product liability claims that the transportation industry has faced and will continue to face as technologies develop and advance are an area where my experience will allow me to assist our clients in developing effective defense strategies for product liability claims.”
