Experience Highlights
In a workers’ compensation case involving a woman who waited too long to collect on an established claim for lost wages and medical benefits, associate attorney Danielle O. Nelson successfully defended a temporary-staffing agency whose liability risk was upward of $16,000. The case turned on the claimant’s decision not to collect immediately on her claim but, rather, to work through her injury by continuing to report for her temporary mailroom job until it ended.
